SITE SAFETY BRIEFING
READ CAREFULLY – THIS IS FOR YOUR SAFETY AND OTHERS
EYE & FACE PROTECTION
- —Approved eye protection must be worn at all times in game zones
- —Do not remove goggles unless you are in a designated safe zone
- —If your goggles fog, return to the safe zone before removing them
- —Call for a marshal in the event of your eye protection becoming away from your face.
SAFE ZONE RULES
- —Magazines out, chambers cleared, safeties on at all times
- —Barrel socks/covers must be fitted where required
- —No dry firing or test firing in the safe zone
- —Treat all rifs as if they are loaded
FPS / POWER LIMITS (STRICTLY ENFORCED)
- —AEG (Automatic Electric Guns): Max 350 FPS / 1.1 Joules
- —DMR (Designated Marksman Rifles): Max 450 FPS
- —Sniper Rifles (Bolt Action): Max 500 FPS
- —All weapons must be chrono tested before use on site
- —Anyone found over limits will not be tolerated as this is a breach in site safety
ENGAGEMENT RULES
- —Always be aware of your minimum engagement distances (MED)
- —Snipers must have a secondary
- —At close range, no BANG rule, shoot but try to aim at legs or torso if possible
- —No blind firing – you must see your target before shooting
- —Do not shoot at players that are "CLEARLY" dead or out of the game
HIT TAKING
- —If you are hit, shout "HIT" clearly and immediately for the blind
- —Raise your hand or weapon for the deaf
- —Dead players do not talk - Cheating
- —Cheating will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave upon multiple offences
PYROTECHNICS (ALLOWED)
- —Only site-approved pyrotechnics may be used
- —No homemade or modified pyro
- —Grenade in a building "kills" the whole building
- —Do not pick up pyro or pick up other players reusable pyro
- —Misuse of pyro will result in removal from the game
- —12 gauge allowed
GENERAL CONDUCT
- —No aggressive or abusive behaviour towards players or staff
- —Respect marshals – their decisions are final
- —No physical contact or fighting – Instant removal from site
- —Play fair and in the spirit of the game
- —No climbing, except for purpose-built structures and locations
MARSHALS & EMERGENCIES
- —Marshals are present for your safety – Please follow their instruction for safety and so that you understand your game objectives
- —1 Whistle blast – Game START
- —2 Whistle blasts – Game STOP
- —If you hear "3 Whistle blasts", immediately: Stop shooting, Stay where you are, Await instructions
- —Report any injuries or unsafe behavior immediately
GAME BOUNDARIES
- —All rope, metal fencing with tarp and mesh curtains dictates site boundaries and must not be crossed
- —When transiting from safe zone to game zone stick to the designated route
- —We have trenches so be aware
- —You can shoot over boundaries rope
FINAL REMINDER
- —If you have a medical condition, please make the head marshal aware
- —Any medication is to be placed in your top left pocket or left arm pocket if possible
- —You are responsible for your own safety and those around you
- —If unsure about anything, ask a marshal before the game starts
